HOW TO MOVE AROUND ROME Rome is served by an integrated public transport system operated by the companies Atac - Cotral - FS. The system includes a network of metro, bus, tram and metro-type rail services.

BUS E TRAM La città E' servita da 238 linee urbane di bus e da 7 linee tram in servizio dalle ore 05,30 alle 24,00. Il servizio notturno E' svolto con 27 linee dalle ore 00,10 alle 05,30. Tali linee sono contraddistinte dal numero seguito dalla N e seguono percorsi propri o di analoghe linee diurne.

BUS AND TRAM The city is served by 238 bus routes and 7 tram routes which operate from 05.30 to 24.00. Night bus services comprise 27 routes operating from 00,10 to 05,30. These services are recognised by the number followed by the letter N.

SERVIZIO TURISTICO Linea bus 110 con partenza dalla Stazione Termini alle ore 14,30 nei giorni feriali per un giro turistico fra i monumenti di Roma (durata 2 ore).

SPECIAL TOURIST SERVICE Bus route 110 provides a tour of the key sites of historic interest in central Rome departing from Termini station at 2.30 pm Monday-Saturday (2 hour round trip).

METROPOLITANA La metropolitana E' composta da due linee: Linea A Collega la zona di Cinecittà-Quadraro nel sud-est della città con la stazione Termini, il centro storico di Roma e la zona di Prati. Linea B Collega l'EUR nel sud della città con la Basilica San Paolo, il Colosseo e le stazioni FS Ostiense, Termini e Tiburtina, per terminare a Rebibbia. La metropolitana e' in servizio dalle ore 05,30 alle ore 23,30.

METRO The metro comprises two lines: Line A Links the area of Tuscolana in the south-east of the city with Termini rail station, the historic centre of Rome and the area of Prati to the west. Line B Links the EUR area to the south of the city with the Basilica San Paolo, the Colosseo and the rail stations of Ostiense, Termini and Tiburtina. The metro is in service between the hours of 05,30 untill 23,30.

FERROVIA Nell'area centrale di Roma ci sono sei stazioni principali di scambio (Flaminio, Trastevere, Ostiense, Tuscolana, Termini, Tiburtina ), gestite da FS e Cotral e integrate con i servizi di Metropolitana, bus e tram. Collegamento speciale FS non stop Termini-Fiumicino Aeroporto I biglietti possono essere acquistati direttamente alle apposite biglietterie situate al binario 22 della Stazione Termini o all'ingresso della Stazione dell'Aeroporto di Fiumicino.

RAILWAY Within the central area of Rome there are six key interchange stations (Flaminio, Trastevere, Ostiense, Termini, Tiburtina and Tuscolana), operated by FS and Cotral and integrated with the Metro or bus and tram services. Special airport link FS non stop Termini - Fiumicino Aeroporto Tickets can be bought directly from designated ticket offices located by platform 22 in Termini station and the entrance of the airport rail station.

Il titolo si deve acquistare prima dell'inizio del viaggio presso qualsiasi stazione metro, punti vendita autorizzati (giornalai, edicole, tabaccai, totoricevitori) e macchine automatiche emettitrici.

BUYING A TICKET - METREBUS The integrated ticket - Metrebus - provides you with the freedom of using all the modes of public transport within the metropolitan area of Rome excluding, the direct rail link Termini - Fiumicino Airport. Tickets must be bought before the commencement of your journey from any Metro station, authorised vendor (newsagent, tobacconist) and automatic ticket machines.

ABBONAMENTI E BIGLIETTI INTEGRATI Abbonamento personalizzato e non, mensile o annuale, è valido su tutti i mezzi di trasporto pubblico nel territorio del Comune di Roma. Carta Settimanale (CIS) è valida per sette giorni su tutti i mezzi di trasporto pubblico nel territorio del Comune di Roma. Biglietto Giornaliero (BIG) è valido nell'arco della giornata, in cui viene timbrato, su tutti i mezzi di trasporto pubblico nel territorio del Comune di Roma. Biglietto a tempo (BIT) è valido per 75 minuti su tutti i mezzi bus e tram ATAC, per una corsa sulle linee metro A e B e in un unico senso di marcia sui treni FS (2° classe).

TRAVELCARDS & INTEGRATED TICKETS Season Ticket monthly or annual, is valid on all public transport services within the metropolitan area of Rome Weekly Ticket (CIS) is valid for seven days on all public transport services within the rnetropolitan area of Rome Daily Ticket (BIG) is valid for use on all public transport services within the metropolitan area of Rome on the day it is validated 75 Minute Ticket (BIT) is valid for up to 75 minutes on all ATAC buses and trams, for one trip on metro lines A and B and for one trip on any metro-type FS train (2nd class).

CONVALIDA DEL BIGLIETTO I biglietti devono essere convalidati all'inizio del viaggio. Il biglietto a tempo (BIT) deve essere timbrato nuovamente se è utilizzato in metropolitana. Le macchinette per la convalida sono posizionate all'interno dei bus e tram e nei passaggi di ingresso alle stazioni della metropolitana e FS.

VALIDATING YOUR TICKET Tickets must be validated on commencement of our ourney. Validation machines are located at the rear of buses and trams, at the entry gates of Metro stations and within the entrance area of all rail stations.

MULTE Durante il tragitto ispettori autorizzati possono chiedere la visione del titolo di viaggio. Qualora il passeggero ne sia sprovvisto o non sia in regola dovrà pagare un multa di lire 50.000

PENALTY FARES During your journey a ticket inspector may ask you to show your ticket. If you do not have a valid ticket, you are liable to pay a fine of 50.000 lire
